What the Treatment Includes:

This service goes beyond a standard nail trim to ensure complete paw health:

1. Nail Trimming and Grinding: We trim the nails to the appropriate length, followed by nail grinding for smoothness. Grinding helps to round and smooth the sharp edges left by clipping, significantly reducing the risk of scratching and snags. It also allows us to get the nail slightly shorter than trimming alone.
2. Paw Pad Trimming: We carefully trim the hair between the paw pads. This is vital for hygiene as it prevents matting and the collection of dirt, debris, and moisture, which can lead to fungal or bacterial growth.
3. Moisturizing Paw Balm Application: A gentle, all-natural paw balm or conditioner is applied to the pads. This hydrates and protects the skin, especially against harsh elements like hot pavement, ice, salt, and rough terrain.
